Myrkur
Myrkur is a game in which you, a little powerless blue blob, explore an open world to collect all the crowns left behind in the desolate wastelands of a kingdom long gone by...
Controls:
- WASD or arrow keys to move
- R to respawn
- F to enter Fullscreen
- M to mute the game
- Escape to close the game
Note: in case the lighting is not bright enough for you, you can open the "config" file and change the "lightingDist" value to something higher (max 1.0).
This game was made in 48h for the Kenney jam 2023 and only includes visual assets from the Kenney website (using mostly the kenney 1-bit pack). I wrote the music and all the sound effects (except walk/unlock) for this jam. The game is made in Lua with the LÖVE framework (11.4).
The source code is open source and available here.
PS: Myrkur is Icelandic for "darkness".
