Welcome to City of London 1923!

The golden twenties are in full swing and the city is bustling. As a fresh-faced, ambitious graduate from a top investment bank, you are out to make it big on the booming real estate market of the city of London. There will be 'a few' maintenance hurdles in the way, but nothing to stop you from becoming the city's most prominent housing magnate.

Reach your goal of buying all plots of land in the inner city and reaching liquid assets of at least £50,000!

Made in 4 days for the 2024 GMTK game jam with the theme "Built to scale".

Controls:

• Mostly controlled via mouse.
• [F]: Toggle fullscreen
• [M]: Toggle mute
• [Escape]: Quit to menu
• In game hotkeys: F1 and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Known problems:

• The "fix all" button unfortunately does not renovate the whole skyscraper, resulting in problems reoccuring quickly again.
  
• The cursor sometimes feels a bit unresponsive.
  
• The cursor sometimes disappears in popup windows (clicking somewhere wildly helps).
